The Five Senses Gardens engages humans' five senses in a peaceful creek side environment filled with native trees, shrubs, and plants. The Gardens were transformed a few years ago to grow mainly native pollinators focusing on lepidoptera hosts and plants for specialized bee species. A labyrinth is also included to promote peaceful contemplation while visiting.
The Gardens are maintained by local volunteers as well as Dauphin County Master Gardeners and is part of the Capital Area Greenbelt Association's 18 mile loop around Harrisburg, PA.
