It started with a rain garden, encouraged and supported by our local water treatment facility but we quickly got hooked on all the liveliness and the ease of maintenance. Now more than 60% of our front yard and nearly 50% of our back yard are in native plants. Our yard is alive with butterflies, bees, birds, and other wonderful creatures! It's a daily source of joy.
