I have been working on my yard for quite a long time, little by little replacing non natives with natives. I have a small front yard with a native dogwood and a couple of beds. The back stretches 200 feet back and I have been trying to increase the diversity of natives.
Dogwoods, Eastern Redbud, milkweed, bee balm, echinacea, joe pye weed, digitalis, yarrow, phlox, helopsis, hibiscus, st. john's wort, columbine, button bush, hayscent fern, ninebark, obediant plant, black eyed Susan, butterfly weed, Helenium, Hyssop, Ironweed, Queen of the Prairie.
