We have been replacing non-native species with native plants, trees, and shrubs for several years while also constantly fighting invasive species (mostly English ivy and vinca). We currently have nearly 100 native species, including keystone plants and many pollinators. The sunny front yard is bursting with blooms from spring through fall, and the shadier backyard is catching up.
