We began 1n 2024 by replacing the turf grass in a 100 s.f. curb lawn strip with Ohio native plants from our county Soil and Water Conservation District. In 2025, we replaced turf grass in the front yard with a 600 s.f. shade pollinator garden, and installed another 600 s.f. pollinator garden in the somewhat sunnier back yard. We planted a matrix of sedges like Side-oats Grama, with drifts of forbes in between.
