Our small woodland garden is in part-shade most of the year. Students and families at Meredith Elementary planted many native and pollinator friendly plants in the spring and fall of 2025. The plants are in the front garden and in raised planters in the schoolyard. We also added water sources and places for shelter like leaf litter and insect hotels, and we removed invasive plants. Students made interpretaive signs and maintain the garden by watering, weeding, and adding fresh compost and mulch every year.
The front garen is open to the public from 8am to 7pm every day.
