In front of the Nature Center building, in the East Beach area of the Park

Free
Dry, sunny habitat with sandy soil and heavy deer & groundhog predation. Fenced in area includes these shrubs: Beach Plum, Sea Myrtle, Viburnum, Ninebark, Staghorn Sumac, Red Cedar. Perennials include: Golden Alexanders, Spiderwort, Mountain Mint, Yarrow, Eupatorium hyssopfolium & perfoliatum, New England Blazing Star, Goldenrod, Evening Primrose, Penstemon, Pokeweed.
Several UConn Master Gardeners will be there to answer questions.
