The Onion Barn Native Pollinator Garden
187 Weston Rd, Weston, CT 06883, USA
Directly across from Weston Town Center. Park at the Onion Barn.
The Onion Barn dates back to 1830 and is anchored by a beautiful and old Amelanchier tree. The garden bed was restored in 2019 and replanted to include 13 types of native grasses, perennials and shrubs. These native plants support over 400 species of butterflies and moths. The garden was planted and is maintained by the Weston Pollinator Pathway volunteers with support from the Weston Garden Club and the Town of Weston.
We have copies of the plant list pinned to the Onion Barn. Please take one. We hope this garden inspires you to plant more native plants in your own home garden.
Thank you for visiting!
