Pound Ridge Pollinator Pathway
The idea behind the Pound Ridge Pollinator Patches & Pathways Project is to make our yards beautiful, healthy places that maintain the character of Pound Ridge and support nature. Adding native plants to our yards provides food and shelter for declining populations of birds, butterflies, bees, beetles and more. This project is an initiative of the Conservation Board, The Invasives Project-Pound Ridge (TIP-PR), Pound Ridge Land Conservancy, and the Henry Morgenthau Preserve, who are all members of the Hudson to Housatonic Regional Conservation Partnership (H2H) and the Lower Hudson Partners in Regional Invasive Species Management (LHPRISM). Our goal is to have residents understand the value of connecting to the local ecology.
