Aspetuck Land Trust and our partner, Earthplace, launch the first in a series of environmental learning lectures called “Native Pairings.”
Time & Location
Oct 16, 2019, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Earthplace, 10 Woodside Ln, Westport, CT 06880, USA
About the event
Dr. Sarah Evans, Assistant Professor, Environmental Medicine and Public Health from Mount Sinai Children’s Environmental Health Center and Thomas Barry, Head Grounds Manager and Certified Organic Land Care Professional from Greens Farms Academy in Westport will share their recommendations for creating a healthy backyard for children, pets, and wildlife.
“Native Pairings” will not only showcase two local professionals but also provide refreshments from two local purveyors of spirits and cheeses. Join us for an evening of inspiration for the mind and palate.
The “Native Pairings” series will showcase local leaders whose expertise supports the messaging of the Green Corridor: Encouraging people to avoid pesticides, plant natives, and rethink your lawn.
Special thanks to The Glengate Company, Landscape Design for their contribution to this program.
