With the help of Future Five high school students, local volunteers and UCONN master gardener interns, 300 native plants were planted in Kosciuszko Park on June 11. We also knocked out knotweed in Chestnut Hill Park, brought awareness to the harms of spraying pesticides to control mosquitoes, and featured a pollinator treasure in Stamford, the Cove Island Wildlife Sanctuary and Butterfly Garden. Unfortunately, storms prevented the first outdoor Science Café, but we hope to reschedule in the fall. Read this and more in our July 2022 Newsletter
