The garden is adjacent to a hardwood forest where there are several native species and lots of pollen sources. About 1/2 acre which was originally grass, has evolved to wildness. I plant lots of flowers and herbs. We have 2 bee hives, and 11 chicken and a healthy bird population, including a resident family of hawks.
