One third of the property is in transition toward woodland with native trees and a developing native understory (limited by heavy deer presence). Back half of property contains primarily natives mixed with edible plantings. Front half of property is garden beds filled with native plants surrounded by lawn and transitioning toward less lawn and bee lawn. Water features, snags, and brush piles are present.

Native trees include: various species of oaks, maple, sycamore, tuliptree, lindentree, birch, poplar, pines, dogwood, and non-native fruiting trees. Shrubs include: viburnum, ninebark, holly, etc. Forbs for pollinators and Lepidoptera
