I began reseeding my lawn with clover 2 years ago and started a native pollinator garden, mostly by seed as well. I meadowed our backyard last year and planned to do so going forward. I've been adding native trees and shrubs as much as possible over the last couple of years and was able to qualify to be part of the pollinator pathway as of this spring. It is not beautiful yet but I have planted a tremendous amount of native wildflower seeds this year, so we will see what it looks like next year! The most important thing that we did was stop using pesticides which the person who owned the home before us had used for 30. Some years. The land is coming back.
