We removed all our invasive trees and planted White Pine, Red Oak, White Oak, Juniper, and River Birch, plus we have a mature Maple in the back. We removed 1/3 of our backyard grass and planted two meadow areas. We are adding clover to all our grass so the bees and other pollinators have food first thing in the spring. We do not use any non-organic pesticides or fertilizers.
Common Milkweed, Scarlet Bee Balm, Aster, Red Twig Dogwood, Black-Eyed Susans, Bergamot, Blue Vervain, White Foxglove, Goldenrod, White Pine, Juniper, River Birch, Red Oak, White Oak.
