Bought our house a few years ago and have tried to replace
the original plants with as many native/pollinator friendly plants as possible in that time. Plants such as mountain mint, coreopsis, bergamot, nodding onion, and others have thrived in our front yard and dozens of happy bees can be seen flying around every day. We're also working on longer term projects like pawpaw trees in our backyard, and serviceberry, wintergreen, and New Jersey tea in our front garden.
