Last year I threw down wildflower seeds with the goal of a beautiful garden. This year it’s wild and full of native pollinators! Salsify (the dandelion looking plants), blue flax(currently being used to add flavor and color to vinegar) milk weed (for the butterflies!) white clover( soon to be used in vinegar) alfalfa( for tea) hollyhocks, sunflowers, and Hoary cress (not native and toxic to cattle). Plus all the herbs I’ve planted, garlic chives that aren’t supposed to be there, and Mountie (my daughter's maple tree). Good for the bugs and good for us!
