Suburban home gardens. 200-yr old trees shade much of the yard. Have removed many invasives and replaced with natives, especially pollinator-friendly plants. Much more work to do. Embracing a looser, wilder, native environment has been a wonderful journey. I've been rewarded with natural beauty and visiting birds, insects and reptiles.
Coral honeysuckle, purple coneflower, dogwood, baptisms, rudbeckia, golden ragwort, golden Alexander, cut leaf coneflower, goldenrod, shrubby St. John’s wort, butterfly weed, NY Ironweed, heuchera, common milkweed, ninebark, fringe tree, fothergilla, tulip poplar trees, oak trees, wild ginger, Virginia bluebells, sensitive fern, Christmas fern, sun drops, Appalachian sedge, cardinal flower, amsonia, Canadian anemone, calycanthus, redbud, and more.
