This garden has been a labor of love over the past dozen years. The property we bought was a typical 1950s rambler - stone planters along the house with a flat, grassy lawn, single large tree shading the front and the back and native shrubs along the peripheries. The space has been reshaped to add berms populated with many native flowering plants and bushes and we are gradually removing all grasses. This ever-developing "english country"-style garden blooms spring to fall and maintains its color variety through the seasons with Evergreen and perennial native plants. The spring explosion of poppies, peonies, iris and tulips is truly spectacular and a favorite of passersby.
