I have a large yard. I have converted most of the front yard to native flower plantings. The sections that are not planted are mown only 2 or 3 times a season and is composed of a mix of clover, violets and fleabanes. We have a small rain garden in the back. We are working to remove large beds of ivy, vinca and autumn clematis that run along the whole backyard fence line. Goal is to replace with native shrubs and understory trees.
