A suburban garden that we have been working on for several years. Have been adding many more flowers and shrubs that attract and support pollinators and birds. We already have numerous large trees on and around our property.
Some of the native plants we have...but we also have many others that aren't!
TREES: red maple, white oaks, flowering dogwoods
SHRUBS: arrowwood viburnum, black chokeberry, blueberry, ninebark,
FLOWERS: blue false indigo, foxglove beardtongue, golden ragwort, violets, wild blue phlox, wild columbine, bee balm, purple coneflower, garden phlox, joe pye weed, milkweed, butterfly weed, black-eyed susan, goldenrods, new england aster, white and pink turtlehead
