My garden is roughly 1/3 wetland, 1/3 shaded woods and 1/3 lawn and flower beds. We've been adding native perennials and shrubs to the wood border, adding wetland natives to the wetland area and have converted the flower beds to native perennials. Still plenty to do, but looking forward to expanding this year by year.
