We pulled all the grass out of our backyard over 10 years ago and stopped watering so that all of the plants and growth are native and drought resistant!

We also stopped watering our front yard, we are going to add drought tolerant landscaping - currently it is whatever grows without water. There no grass left!

I did also build 3 raised gardening beds and plant vegetables, herbs and wild flowers every year!
