New England Aster, coneflower, snowberry, milkweed, blazing star, mountain mint, Joe Pye weed, and several "volunteer" natives!
We have been adding many native plants from New Haven's UrbanScapes and the Branford Conservation and Environmental Commission to our garden and yard. We're learning how to make our little piece of heaven better for the plants and other living things we share this space with! We're seeing many different birds take up residence here, and are finding red-backed salamanders and many others!
