I live in mixed forest wetland near the Pacific Ocean. I have an urban standard lot. I aquired it 4 years ago. It was overgrown with blackberry, pompous grass, ornamental flax. I hired a woman from the local Native Nursery to do an assessment and make recommendations. I removed many nonnative invasive plants. I have planted many new native plants specific for this regions. I have install a pollinator strip in the sunny front area and promote pollinator gardening to my neighbors.
