When I bought the house in 2015 the whole from was lawn and evergreen shrubs. Most of the back was lawn also. I now have no front lawn and have eliminated about 1/3 of what was lawn in the back. I have planted a serviceberry, several redbuds, two silky dogwoods, and a sycamore. I have also planted native ferns and Canadian wild ginger in the shhade garden in the back and have added dozens of native plants- too many to list! I also installed a rain barrel.
