Featured on the Growing Natives Garden tour 5 times since 2010 as "suburban natives", this is a mature native landscape with some new plants. Original front was removed in 2007, and has been evolving ever since. Back yard is also largely native but not public. Focus has been on variety, including both keystone and specialist species.

Accessible front includes Cleveland sage, hummingbird sage, ceanothus, red-flowered buckwheat, sulfer buckwheat, coyote mint, Margarita BOP penstemon, CA penstamon, western redbud, dudleya, verbena, deer grass, aster, seaside daisies, ribes vibernifolium, manzanita "Sentinel" goldenrod, and California fuchsia. Recently planted are a very young blue oak and a coast live oak, as well as vervain and 4 species of milkweed.
