Belong to HOA. Front yard must meet standards so I have what I've termed a "mullet yard"...business in the front, party in the back. I do not mow about 75% of backyard which backs to a creek. Ever since I stopped spraying pesticides, and started planting natives more birds, bees, deer etc visit. I do not have any pest pressure on my garden as the birds eat them up. It's a beautiful balance.
