270 winged sumac (Rhus copallinum) bareroot seedlings were planted by The Environmental Coalition of the Pelhams (EcoPel) who joined forces with NY State Department of Transportation to launch a multi-phase pollinator garden partnership through the NYSDOT's Adopt-A-Highway Program at the Pelham Manor Northbound Exit 4 (Boston Post Road).
