I've always enjoyed plants and gardening, but I didn't know I had the wrong ones in my yard. I had almost all the top twelve worst invasives, including multiFlora rose, mugwort, English ivy, vinca/periwinkle, rose of sharon and oriental bittersweet. Now now they are all gone. I've planted about forty shrubs in their place. Now I'm working on adding the flowering perennials.

Clethra alnifolia summersweet, witch hazel, winterberry, dwarf chinkapin oak, black chokeberry, red chokeberry, sassafras trees, wild cherry trees, white pine, taylor juniper, nine bark, groundsel bush, american cranberry bush, low bush blueberry, silky dogwood, oak leaf hydrangea, arrowwood viburnam
