I bought this property in 2015 and started yard work in late 2016. I have collected wild seeds and potted/grown them for years. After 7 frustrating years of hiring "professionals" who told me of their ecological best practices, they had zero care/knowledge of ecological gardening. As of exactly a year ago, in 2023, two excellent ecological gardeners are working here and are correcting the errors. They continue to work to remove invasive including the enormous task of weeding the buttercup. This past year several dozen trees shrubs perennials were added with attention to sourcing and propagation methods. I do not plant cultivars.
