I have converted the entire front yard including, the hell strip, into a native plant & pollinator garden. I used cardboard + compost to kill the thick lawn, then planted a large variety of seeds, plugs and several trees. If you build it they will come! I am still working on one section, then am going to tackle and convert the huge backyard.
