A meadow strip along a rock wall with many natives such as
echinaceas, black eye Susans, blazing stars, asters, lupines, coreopsis and shastas. In 2024 we added a milkweed, goldenrod, floxglove beardtongue and mountain mint.
Over the years some plants were more prevalent than others, especially the shastas, that we are "managing".
We have been preparing a sector that was taken over by grasses with the occultation method. We will divide some blazing stars and move them there in the next weeks and spread some bee balm seeds.
Groundhogs love the asters and echinaceas, so that has been a challenge.
