56 Mont Vernon St
Native plants in the gardens include: Milkweeds, Purple Coneflower, Joe Pye Weed, Native Asters, Trumpet Honeysuckle, Goldenrods, and more

The property of the SVBGC includes a wooded nature trail, riverbank, pollinator gardens, native plant gardens, ornamental flower beds, and a large vegetable & herb garden. Staff, students, and volunteers created gardens and trails to make the most of this oasis in a busy area of Milford, NH.
These outdoor spaces are maintained by a crew of dedicated volunteers, and serve children from ages 5-17 as an active natural classroom. Youth counselor staff teach in the gardens each summer, serving over 200 children in the program. The children learn about how native plants help pollinators, by spending time caring for these gardens. They grow plants from seeds, compost, study insects and birds, learning STEAM skills while having fun.
Many of the SVBGC garden and trail areas are open to the public as a community resource for all the enjoy!
