Primarily, Butterfly weed, Echinacea, Bee Balm, Jo Pye Weed, Thistles, Milkweed, Yarrow, and a variety of grasses and ferns from a native garden supplier. Also Service Berry trees and shrubs on the property. There is a second smaller native plant and pollinator garden along the sidewalk that isn't pictured.
Two years ago, Tod and I created two native sidewalk facing beds friendly to pollinators. We are now confident that the beds are thriving and I am seeing bees there every day. Much of my more formal backyard garden is also pollinator friendly. So the three areas are doing their job so we would like to register them on the website.
