Our hillside garden is home to native perennials and a well used bird house. Tenants move in every spring and " "rent" til the fall.

Although not native, the huge swath of lemon thyme keeps large numbers of both honey bees and bumblebees busy all summer.

Chipmunks, bunnies and snakes have been spotted foraging for food among the perennials.

The hillside contains bee balm, daylilies, wild daisies and Shasta daisies. There is also golden rod, echinacea and liatris in purple and white, along with catmint and false sunflowers.
The backyard has fothergilla, huge paniculata hydrangeas and macrophylla hydrangeas. Other shrubs and trees planted on this 30
year old site include lilacs, inkberry, ilex opaca and a beautiful redbud tree that delights us each year with it’s neon pink blossoms.
