12 mostly wooded acres forming a bowl shape with two spring-fed ponds connected by a stream. Woods are mostly oak. Stand of witch hazels. Along the ponds are many elder bushes. One the edges of the woods are rhododendrons, blackberries, kolkwitzia, hydrandgea and mountain laurel. A modest garden border with peonies and roses.
Oak, cedar, black birch, at least one hornbeam, two big sweet gums, tulip tree, sassafras, many evergreens. Flowering dogwood, Mountain laurel, black willow, pussy willow, high and low bush blueberries, sweet fern, maple leaf viburnum, wood asters, ostrich ferns, sensitive ferns, virginia creeper, goldenrod, NY ironweed, snakeroot, wild bergamot, mountain mint, eastern red columbine, a few kinds of Joe Pye, sedge grasses, milkweeds.
