This is the third year for this garden. It is approximately 80 percent native plants. Unfortunately this year rabbits and drought have caused a great deal of damage. I hope many of the plants affected will survive amd return in the spring. the area is pulling in an assortment of bees along with a couple of hummingbirds. I have seen few butterflies( only one monarch seen). Hoping for an increase in plant and insect life next spring. Plan to ammend the soil to help increase moisture retention.
