In the front yd I have heart-leaved asters, bloodroot, wild geranium, obedient plants, echinacea, garden phlox, brown-eyed Susans, wild evening primrose (sundrops), goldenrod, blue false indigo, lots of poison ivy, and a young oak. I have a small stream running through my property, and a shallow pond in the back yd. I've planted common milkweed, and both groundnut and Joe Pye weed abound. In the side yd there is an ever-expanding stand of dogwood shrubs (red osier, I think). I also have apple and crabapple trees, domesticated blueberry shrubs, pokeweed, and a large organically-grown vegetable garden.
