Plants include: Common Milkweed, Butterfly Milkweed, Goldenrod, Rudbeckia, Evening Primrose, Sedum, Horseweed, Pokeweed Mullein, Yarrow and other flowering “weeds” that I have yet to identify are staples in this young garden. After gardening in Florida for 30 years, I’m learning the northern plants and very interested in cultivating natives.
It’s gratifying to see the pollinators, and all the other critters, visiting this new stop on the Pollinator Pathway.
Native milkweed, goldenrod, rudbeckia, blanket flower, coreopsis, common primrose and more.
I keep anything that volunteers and makes flowers, even if they are considered “weeds”.
