A formerly completely mowed property is gradually transforming into a mix of native wildflower meadow and woodland border of native shrubs and trees. It has taken a few years for the meadow to establish. While native meadow plants are starting to thrive, some non-native varieties like mugwort and vetch are competing.
Screening using native trees is starting to take hold. Selections have been made to ensure food and shelter for birds and insects year round.
