This "Garden in the Woods" is owned & managed by the Eastham Conservation Foundation. The garden is located on the footprint of Hostel International's main building that was demolished in 2023. It is part of 3.4 protected acres owned by ECF which includes forest, vernal pools & open space where the garden is located. Half of the garden was planted this year with the remainder to be planted next year. All plants are native to Barnstable County except Solidago speciosa.
