Caryopteris and Nepeta
At 787 7th Avenue in New York City, we’ve created a pollinator-friendly garden to support local beehives and other pollinators, which are maintained by Alveole. This garden is filled with plants that offer plenty of nectar and pollen, ensuring bees have a steady food source throughout the growing season. Being in the heart of Manhattan, we chose plants that can thrive in urban conditions, handling pollution and fitting into smaller spaces, such as containers. With nectar-rich plants like Caryopteris (Bluebeard) and Nepeta (Catmint), the garden provides vital support for pollinators from early spring through fall, while also enhancing the local ecosystem. The pollinator-friendly garden and beehives at this location are sponsored by UBS, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, and CommonWealth Partners.
