My backyard has several trees. We do not have a conventional lawn, it is comprised of shallow rooted weeds we just mow. We are leaving the dandelions and what I believe is henbit/Dead Nettle along with clover for bees. We never ever use pesticides or weed killers. I also am growing tomatoes, eggplants and peppers along with flowers grown from seeds for pollinators. I also have 2 dwarf apple trees and 2 blueberry bushes in containers on my deck that the carpenter bees love to pollinate. Trying to do my part on my limited budget..
