Since 2017 I have removed thousands of square feet of lawn and planted native gardens, both sunny and shaded, featuring a wide array of flower shapes for many pollinators.
I leave my leaves and create brush piles and areas of bare soil for bees. I also have many organically grown fruit trees that are popular with bees. And I wait until late spring to do clean up of dead perennial foliage from the previous season.

Hundred! Some favorites are Zizia , Spicebush and Packera in the early garden, Mountain Mint , bee balm and Phlox mid season and Asters, Goldenrod and BlueMist flower late season.
