Nutley Public Library Garden

This butterfly garden was planted in 2018 by Nutley Rotary members in honor of Grace Viola, who was a friend of the Rotary as well as a Friend of the Library. It has been tended by library staff and Friends of the Library.

This year in March, a landscaper was hired by the Friends to update and organize the garden. Photos are from different years at the library.

We started with a plant kit from Prairie Moon, and added milkweed to the assortment below.  The photos are from this month, May 2025, the planting 5 years ago and also last year, 2024.
