My first native plants were some swamp milkweeds, from a farm/greenhouse, I was working at. They were covered in Monarch caterpillars. Little did I know that I was starting a deep dive, down a native garden path. Five years later, there are too many locally native and USA native, plants, shrubs, and trees, to list. There are volunteers galore, a small stream and pond, areas where the leaves remain...

We've had possums, a frog, nesting birds, baby bunnies. Deer and coyotes visit, even though we're three houses away from a four lane road! And, the bees, wasps, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, and fireflies...plus so many others.
