We have been designing and adding planting areas in our yard for 34 years. We have planted trees, scrubs and plants then decide after many years we want a different look. One of the biggest was to remove 3 trees in our front yard, add 2 service berries, a red bud and 6 lilacs to block the front patio. We have a 2 tier terrace with a lot of coneflowers, black eyed susans, butterfly mildweed, coreopsis vertilliata, prairie blazing star and others. We have won yard of the month in our town.
