We converted a standard suburban yard into a meadow of native flowers, shrubs and some Florida friendly plants. In year three, our yard has transformed itself with many plants migrating to where they feel best in a riot of color akin to Monet's garden. We have seen an enormous increase in polinators to our yard. Everyone comments on the amount of butterflies in particular. We do not use any pesticides, very little in the way of fertilizer and only water in extreme drought. It's a wonder.
