Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley Gardens

56 Mont Vernon St, Milford, NH 03055, USA

Welcome to The Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley Gardens in Milford NH! The gardens were created in 2018, on what was a parking lot and bare ground at the Boys and Girls Club. It’s now a thriving oasis for wildlife, plants, and a year round nature classroom! A team of dedicated staff and volunteers teach over 250 children ages 5-17 about gardening and nature, including how to help pollinators.

All organic methods are used, and students actively participate in planting, weeding, watering, and maintenance of the gardens and trails. The property is home to birds, rabbits, deer, squirrels, bees, butterflies, frogs, turtles, and many more species of wildlife.Plants in the gardens and trails include New Hampshire native trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals, as well as raised vegetable and herb beds, a dedicated pollinator garden, shade gardens, a monarch butterfly garden, and nature trails.

Many of the Boys and Girls Club garden and trail areas are open to the public, as a community resource for all to enjoy!
